DALLAPALLI HILLS

It is an earthly paradise. When I visited this place, I felt like snow clouds were touching us. There are high hills and valleys which are very beautiful to look at. It's a wonderful feeling to have those snow clouds touching us without stopping anywhere.

LOCATION AND DISTANCE

Dallapalli village is located in a remote area on a high hill in the Paderu Mandal of Visakhapatnam district. It is located in the Eastern Ghats at an altitude of 3,500 feet above sea level. The hills got their name from the name of the village and hence the hills are called Dallapalli Hills. These hills are located at a distance of 100 km from Visakhapatnam and 80 km from Anakapalle. From Visakhapatnam, you can reach Modakondamma Ammavari Temple via Sabbavaram-Chodavaram-Ghat road. From there you can reach the Dallapalli hills if you take the road on the right. The journey on the road beyond Modakondamma Temple feels a bit adventurous. The road is good as you can take your vehicles up the hill.

PARKING

There is no parking space on those hills. You have to park your vehicles on the side of the road. Since there are not many vehicles on that road, it is advisable to bring your vehicles to reach the top of the hill. It is advisable to go by bike and cars on the hill and park them on the side of the road. 

VIEW

From the view of the Dallapalli hills, the surrounding area looks Amazing! Our two eyes are not enough to see the valleys below those high hills. If those ice clouds touch our that touch gives us a new feeling. To reach the viewpoint on the hill, you have to cross a small fence. The village of Dallapalli looks very beautiful when viewed from that viewpoint. The feeling is cozy and pleasant when the snowdrops touch us while touching those snowy hills. This is a place where people seem to live in clouds.

TIMINGS

Every year from November to January becomes a good picnic spot for tourists. This month the fog will mostly cover the area. Some days though, The sunlight there does not touch the ground. It is best to visit this place in the morning and evening.

FOOD COURTS AND RESTAURANTS

There are no food courts or restaurants in this place. There are no shops on these hills it's an empty place. If you want to buy food there is a town called Paderu near, that area where you can buy the food you like. The distance from Dallapally to Paderu is 12 km. There are small shops in Dallapalli village where snack water bottles are available.

RESORTS AND HOTELS

I told you before that this place is empty so you will not be able to stay here. The town of Paderu, which is close to the area, has hotels with minimal amenities where you can stay overnight and reach Dallapalli in the morning. You can stay overnight on the hills of Dallapalli but wild animals roam the surrounding areas.

HOSPITALS AND MEDICINE

There are no hospitals in the area, there are hospitals in the nearby town of Paderu, and no medical shops on the hills. Bring at least a first aid kit before you travel, as this journey can be a little daunting.

CLEAN AND GREEN

The plastic covers and plastic bottles that tourists bring with them are left in the place so that the whole place is filled with Garbage. It throws long away from the Garbage that we bring with us.

The Dallapalli Hills is about 3,500 feet above sea level

There will be no tourist guides in those areas.

These hills are very high so we have to be very careful. Those hills

Oxygen levels are sometimes lower in that area due to being too high.
