Kottapalli Falls is one of the most famous waterfalls in Visakhapatnam (Vizag). This waterfall is located in Kottapalli village in the G. Madugula zone of Visakhapatnam district. These waterfalls look beautiful during the winter season.

DISTANCE

The Kothapalli waterfalls are about 126 kilometers from the Vizag via Pendurrthi-Sabbavaram-Chodavaram-Vaddadhi-Paderu-Gangaraju Madugula to Kothapalli village. It is the shortest way from Vizag. When you come from Vijayawada Hyderabad Tirupati cities take a side route at Payakaravupeta from where you can reach Kottapalli village via Kotanandur-Narsipatnam-Chintapalli route. The total length of the route is 120 km. These are the two ways to reach these Kothapplli waterfalls.


PARKING

There is a very big parking place to park your vehicles. you can park your vehicles and there is a car parking bike parking but the way of parking road is a gravel road.


VIEW

This waterfall is very beautiful. It looks amazing from whichever way you look at it There are 2 steps the first step looks very beautiful and the 2nd step looks even more amazing than the first step, this waterfall will leave a good memory for everyone who visited. It's a good place to go for a picnic with your friends and family.


TIMINGS

These waterfalls look very beautiful in winter because the snow clouds there completely cover those waterfalls. The view is spectacular, the place is covered with snow and it is extremely cold in the morning and the water of the falls is very cold. It is best to visit this waterfall in winter as there is not much water in summer and muddy in the monsoon. The waterfall is open from 8 am to 5 pm every day.


RESTAURANTS

Kottapalli Falls is not much developed and you can only find some snack and noodle point shops in these places. So you can buy quality food at Paderu or Chintapalli restaurants where it is better to buy. But the towns of Paderu or Chintapalli are 30 or 40 km away from the falls. Bomb Chicken is sold in the vicinity of the falls, and some people cook and sell them wonderfully. There is only one food court in this place which is called Hilltop Food Court.


RESORTS AND HOTELS

There are no hotels and cottages are available at Kothapalli waterfalls some people have newly constructed the cottages so you stay at the Paderu or Chinthapalli hotels. you stay at waterfalls carry the tents but one or two people don't at that place its too danger but a group of people to stay at night time is better but this place is the forest area be care full in the night times.


MEDICINES AND HOSPITAL

The medicines and medical shops are not available so we must carry them with us, if you need urgent you must go to the Gangaraju Madugala village and a hospital is also there. 


CLEAN AND GREEN

In these waterfalls, there is a lot of wastage are in surrounding areas so we must keep clean this area. So many of the plastic waste areas in that area so we don't leave wastages like plastics covers, bottles like, etc. that is the green place but some people are damage this is so we keep a clean place this area.



POINTS

The entry fee of these waterfalls is 10 to 20 INR.

You can bathe and swim in this waterfall but be careful.

The 2nd step is more dangerous compare to the 1st step.

Most people have lost their lives while bathing on the 2nd step so be very careful.

Don't leave wastages in this waterfall.

You can go with friends and families to enjoy this waterfall.

Don't go when you drink alcohol some times you step out it's causing more damage to you.

DALLAPALLI HILLS It is an earthly paradise. When I visited this place, I felt like snow clouds were touching us. There are high hills and valleys which are very beautiful to look at. It's a wonderful feeling to have those snow clouds touching us without stopping anywhere. LOCATION AND DISTANCE Dallapalli village is located in a remote area on a high hill in the Paderu Mandal of Visakhapatnam district. It is located in the Eastern Ghats at an altitude of 3,500 feet above sea level.
